Thank you for purchasing your 2017 + Arctic Cat 8000 Fatt Azz pipe from BMP! This pipe was designed to work with our performance y-pipe for massive horsepower gains. A Power Commander EFI controller with our custom map is required to run this pipe. Clutching is also necessary when running our pipe because it needs to be loaded harder. We highly recommend one of our stage 2 clutch kits. After installation is complete, make sure the exhaust is not hitting or touching any components. This is your responsibility to check as Bikeman Performance Plus is not responsible for damages. Follow the instructions below

IMPORTANT - Read the entire instructions before proceeding. If any of it does not make sense or is not in your skillset, please have an experienced technician perform the install.

1. Remove your side panels and hood.

2. Remove your stock pipe (and y-pipe if you are installing one of those at the same time).

3. remove your drive belt using the belt removal tool.

4. Remove the secondary clutch completely from the machine.

5. Locate the two rivets holding the rubber pipe mount in place (Image 1) and drill them out using a 1/8” drill bit.

6. Take your rubber mount off the machine.

7. Temporarily install the BMP heat shielding on the rubber mount with the rivets set into place to align the holes. Bend the heat shield to fit the contour of the rubber mount as shown in Image 2.

8. Install the rubber mount and heat shield on the belt guard.

9. Push the rivets through the heat shield and rubber mount. Use washers on the backside of rivets then rivet in place.

10. Install your BMP exhaust using the factory springs then install your hood and side panels.

11. Go ride and enjoy big power gains! Remember after running the pipe for a few minutes to check all tight clearance areas for melting/burning.
